The University of Cyprus participates in FOOD4ALL Project through the Software Engineering and Internet Technologies (SEIT) Laboratory, an integral part of the Department of Computer Science. SEIT focuses its research activities on two important areas of Information Technology, namely Software Engineering and Internet Technologies. In the second area, the Laboratory concentrates on the development of ICT-enabled Creativity and Enhanced Learning Environments, platforms and tools for implementing Health monitoring and support services, Smart and Personalised services for Elders and Assistive Technologies for people with disabilities. SEIT has extensive experience in the area of applying ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) to e-Learning, m-Learning and Open and Distance Learning in general as well as Life Long Learning in particular.
7th Primary school of Keratsini

Keratsini elementary school ,is one of the older (established 1937) and most history related school in our town. It is in the backyard of Agios Georgios church, where Georgios Karaiskakis had his hideout and strategic base during Greek Revolution in 1821. Therefore it has strong ties with the community and the church. It is a big school of about 200 students, and 35 teachers faculty staff, that covers the first 6 grades of primary education (Ages 6-11). The school is motivated to participate in such a project, to give students the opportunity to further expand their skills and knowledge in areas that maybe are not fully covered in the curriculum. Key people in running the programme will be the Headteacher Mrs. Daniiloglou, and teacher Mr. Tsamkosoglou who are both also proficient in their studies about European Educational Policies.

UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI FIRENZE The University of Florence is an important and influential centre for research and higher training in Italy, with 1,800 lecturers and internal research staff, 1,600 technical and administrative staff, and over 1,600 research assistants and doctoral students. It offers programmes at all levels and in all disciplinary areas: scientific, biomedical, technological, humanities and social sciences. There are more than 200 programmes, with courses in the first cycle (bachelor’s degrees) in the second cycle (master’s degree and 5 or 6-year combined cycle degrees) and in the third cycle (doctorates, specialisation courses and other post-graduate courses) coordinated and managed by the 10 Schools, with a population of about 51,000 enrolled students, one-fourth of which come from outside of Tuscany. There are over 9,000 degrees awarded each year in Florence. According to the alumni data, the percentage of students who are in the workforce one year after their First Level degree is above national average. Academic activities have a strong international dimension: there are 3,400 foreign students and about 300 cooperation agreements in place with as many universities in 75 different countries; there are also study curricula that lead to joint or double titles with other universities and, since 1999, the acknowledgement by the EU of Florence as a “European Centre of Excellence Jean Monnet” for its specialisation in European integration studies. As part of the Erasmus Plus programme the University of Florence has more than 700 agreements with an equal number of foreign universities. In 2011 Florence obtained an award by the Italian LLP Agency as one of the best Italian universities for Erasmus mobility, in particular for incoming students (more than 1000 students per year since 2006). Moreover, the University of Florence is a partner of the Erasmus Plus European Universities alliance EUNIWELL European University for Well-Being. Specifically, the DAGRI department, deals with agricultural, food and forestry sciences and technologies.
University of the Aegean (UoA)

University of the Aegean (UoA) was founded in 1984 aiming to introduce new approaches in higher education in Greece and worldwide and to promote regional development. Situated in 6 picturesque islands in the Aegean Archipelago, the UAegean offers a unique natural, cultural, and human environment for modern studies in the ancient cradle of knowledge. It has a population of 16.000+ undergraduate students, 2.100+ postgraduate students, 350+ teaching staff and 250+ administrative staff. In less than thirty years, the UoA has evolved into an international research –oriented University offering 18 undergraduate (BA or BSc) and 40 postgraduate (MA or MSc) programs in modern interdisciplinary thematic areas such as environment, communication systems, cultural informatics, product design, food and nutritional sciences, educational design and mediterranean studies.
The DFSN of UoA is leading a transnational research structure named AGRICA (2018-2021; budget: 747.920,20 €). AGRICA is a research and innovation center regarding agri-food in islands of Aegean Sea. It aims on the immediate halt of the contraction of productive/entrepreneurial activity, on the enhancing of the attractiveness, competitiveness and extraversion of the islands of the region (particularly SMEs) and on increasing regional added value, leading to innovation. The staff of UoA taking part in BEE-IN project is particularly relevant in expertise and research for implementation of the project due to the activities at the Faculty of Agriculture, the knowledge of the remote regions to be reached and covered with project and the knowledge of up-to-date skills that farmers need.

INTER-EDU was founded as a regional organization to foster a greater degree of cooperation among countries in relation to relevant sectorial policies and to European integration issues. INTER-EDU works in the field of socioeconomic policy, focusing on internationalization and modernization in education and science in alignment with related national and EU horizontal polities, particularly gender equality and good governance. The principle activities of INTER-EDU are towards strengthening and improving the education and science through internationalization, sharing of best practices and networking, that is: activities at national and international educational and scientific projects, participation and organization of conferences, seminars and symposia and summer schools.
Inter-Edu staff is highly experienced in project management, project implementation in pre and post award phases, VET with an aspect on agriculture, agro-economy, rural development, environmental protection, food safety, English for specific purposes and application of ICT in education. Inter-Edu staff has also participated in many international scientific conferences and events worldwide, and their publishing is with impact factor.
